Our Story

Established in 1995
Earlswood Garden & Landscape Centre, (EGLC) was established by brothers Dave & Steve White in 1995 as Earlswood Nurseries Ltd when the site was nothing more than a large neglected plot that consisted of no more than an old work shop barn and a couple of polytunnels.
With the help of their friends and family, Dave & Steve quickly got to work on making full use of the site by manufacturing fence panels in the old workshop and growing bedding plants in the polytunnels to make beautiful hanging baskets. 

Within just a couple of years, business was booming at Earlswood and the centre had already developed and now resembled a traditional garden centre following the addition of a wide range of plants, pots, garden accessories and tools. Dave & Steve had also spotted an opportunity to provide their local customers with a range of landscaping materials and were now selling patio paving block paving and walling products.
The centre now had a shop, made by using an old worksite port-a-kabin and was starting to develop a superb reputation around the local area as a great local business where customers could get great products and advice from extremely knowledgeable staff. 

The company continued to grow in a number of ways over the next few years with more stock, more displays, more staff and more vehicles being added on an almost monthly basis until 2008, when Dave & Steve opened the modern purpose-built retail centre that's here today.
We have continued to grow, with many site developments including a new site entrance and fenceline, new purpose-built buildings for concessions, vastly developed and improved plant centre and a new modern workshop!

Today the company is still owned and managed by Dave & Steve and employs 35 full time and a number of part time staff across the 7.5 acre site throughout its retail, manufacturing, transport, horticultural and contracting operations and operates a variety of delivery vehicles delivering our goods across the Midlands.

We are open 7 days a week, (including Bank Holidays) and have parking for over 100 vehicles so we invite you to take a ride out to Earlswood, where a warm and friendly welcome awaits you. Don't forget to stop for a drink and bite to eat at Wedges Restaurant too; an unmissable experience!
