What Happens in a Garden Curator Appointment?
In up to 60 minutes (depending on what you need), we’ll help you:
• Narrow down stone finishes that suit your home and style
• Think through how timber can be used (and what pairs well)
• Choose plants to soften edges and make the space feel finished
• Talk through practicalities like design direction, timelines and next steps
You don’t need perfect plans. Even a few photos and rough measurements are enough.
What is the Landscape Village?
Our Landscape Village at Earlswood is designed for real-life selections:
• Stone (including porcelain, sandstone and limestone) and all the elements that bring that to life, gravel edging, cobbles and setts.
• Timber elements and complementary materials, fencing, pergolas, garden buildings for sheds to garden offices or gyms.
• Plants to soften, frame and elevate the finished look and all you need to create the garden design you are looking for
And right now, we’re especially excited about our new range of European Sandstones in warm, earthy shades, moving away from cooler greys and bringing more warmth into outdoor spaces (a real challenge to monotony).
Why Choosing Finishes is Harder Than It Should Be
Stone and timber are “big commitment” decisions. They take up a lot of visual space, they set the tone for the whole garden, and they’re not the sort of thing you want to redo. Online images can be misleading. A stone that looks warm on-screen can read grey outdoors. A finish can feel too smooth, too textured, or too busy once it’s laid. A curated, in-person selection makes the decision simpler, and far more confident.
