Earlswood Closeboard panels, (also known as featheredge panels) are extremely heavy duty garden fence panels, ideal for use in high-wind areas or as a perimeter fence. Suitable in all areas, including those prone to strong winds.
Pressure Treated Timber
These panels are supplied pressure treated in a bronze colour finish so there’s no need to apply any further treatment before fitting.
Panel Specification
• Feather edge boards are 125mm x 25mm (5″ x 1″)
• Rear supporting rails are 75mm x 32mm (3″ x 1.25″)
• 6ft & 5ft high panels have 4 rear rails
• 4ft & 3ft high panels have 3 rear rails
Sizes
All panels are made to 6′ wide as standard and come in a variety of heights.
Note that heights stated are to the shoulder of the panel. There’s an additional rise of approx. 6″ from the top to the shoulder to the top of the arch.
i.e. a 6′ x 5′ panel will be 5′ at the sides and 5 feet 6 inches at the highest point of the arch.

Panel Caps
Our panels are not supplied with a cap as standard so if you’re not placing trellis on top of the panel, please make sure you include panel caps to help extend the life of the panel.
