Carré Rouge' is a compact,  evergreen shrub it's leaves are glossy and more elongated than the usual Red Robin and it also offers those leaves up in a  brilliant red when young, maturing to dark green. Panicles of small, creamy-white flowers appear in spring. These half-standard lollipops have a stem height of approx 1-1.2m, and a bushy head measuring 45-50cm+ in size.
