Canyon Sand is a premium quality Portuguese porcelain paving with a natural textured finish for added realism. Porcelain paving is extremely hard wearing and virtually stain proof & maintenance free. Each piece has an external grade of 20mm for quick and easy laying, and as a man made product, has a guaranteed consistent colour.
This product is supplied in 900x600mm single size.
How many Square Meters do I need?
Simply measure the length and width of the area you want to cover and multiply these figures together to get your total square meters. We recommend adding an extra 5% to allow for breakages and cuts.
Example:
If your area is 5m long x 4m wide the total area is 20 square meters, (20m²).
Add 5% (20 x 1.05 = 21) meaning the total you need is 21 square meters.
Anti-Slip
All paving products sold by us are external grade, anti-slip.
Laying Porcelain
Laying porcelain paving requires compacted MOT to create a firm base and a mix of Concreting sand and Cement to create a full mortar bed to lay the paving on to. It is essential to apply a slurry primer to provide a secure bond between your porcelain paving slabs and the bedding mortar. Finally you will need a Jointing compound to fill the gaps between each piece and secure the slabs together, providing a professional finish.
