DELIVERY LEAD TIMES

Our current delivery lead times are:
• Gift Vouchers: Within 5 working days.
• Parcel items: Within 3 working days.
• Local bulk deliveries of stock items: Usually within 3 working days.
• Dropship deliveries: Usually within 7 working days.
• Pallet courier deliveries: Usually within 5 working days.
• Sheds and garden buildings: Approximately 3 weeks.
We will confirm your delivery date within 1 working day of receiving your order.

The above lead times are based on the item(s) ordered being in stock. Some made-to-order and non-stock products require a longer lead time, current lead times for these products will be shown on the individual product pages.
Please note: Delivery lead times may be extended during peak times.

DELIVERIES TO NEW BUILD DEVELOPMENTS

If you are booking a delivery to a newly built property or development that is not shown on Google maps, please make sure you provide us with clear instructions on how to find your property and a contact number where the delivery driver can contact you if they have any issues on the day.
Failed deliveries due to insufficient delivery instructions will be charged for at the full rate.

DELIVERY CHARGES

Rates for each service vary depending on the delivery location and the products being ordered. Please add your items to the shopping cart and use the estimate delivery tool to find out your delivery charge before committing to purchase.

• For gift vouchers, we use Royal Mail (1st class, signed for) at a fixed fee of £2.49
• For small parcel orders, we use DPD at a cost between £4.99 to £24.99, depending on the total order size & weight.
• For local bulk orders, we have three postcode zones covering most of the West Midlands and Warwickshire with fixed rates per order, (see below).
• For pallet courier orders, the cost varies depending on the size, weight and volume of your order.
• For dropship products, the price includes delivery to most parts of Mainland UK.
• For Earlswood garden buildings, the price includes delivery within a 15 mile radius of our centre.

Your delivery charge will be confirmed at the shopping cart or checkout, once you have added all required items and entered your delivery postcode.
Due to carrier size restrictions, some products are not available for nationwide delivery via our website, but we may still be able to assist you with a bespoke delivery quote. Contact us for more information.

LOCAL BULK DELIVERIES (WEST MIDLANDS & WARWICKSHIRE)

For bulk deliveries to most of the West Midlands and Warwickshire, we operate a kerbside delivery service between 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
We cannot provide you with a delivery time. You do not need to be present to accept your delivery.

We operate a fleet of vehicles, including flat bed tippers and large heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), some with crane-off facility to help complete your delivery in the most efficient way. The items on your order will dictate what type of vehicle is used to complete your delivery. IMPORTANT NOTE: All of our HGV vehicles are approximately 8'6" wide, (not including mirrors) so are unable to access most domestic driveways.

Kerbside means your goods will be delivered to an area at the front of your property where the vehicle can reach from the public highway. Most deliveries can be made onto a private driveway, if requested, and small easily-handled products may be placed onto the front of your property by our delivery driver. The placement of products is at the discretion of our professional delivery drivers. If you have any special delivery requests, please contact us prior to placing your order.

If, at your request, a vehicle delivers to any place situated off the public highway, you are to be solely responsible for and shall indemnify us fully against any damage or accident, howsoever caused. The driver's decision is final when deciding what is a safe unload and/or delivery location and reserves the right to refuse if they deem the area to be unsuitable or inaccessible.

Before placing your order, please consider the following questions:

• Do the roadways leading to your property have any weight or height restrictions?
• Are the roadways leading to the property wide enough to accept our delivery vehicles?
• Is the road outside your property usually clear of other vehicles?
• Are there any low bridges or low hanging trees or cables?
• Is there a time restriction for waiting outside your property?
• Are there any problems with a kerbside only delivery?

If you answer yes to any of the above, please inform us when ordering and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

Important Notice: In the event of any goods being delivered and deposited whether, on the public highway or elsewhere, the customer shall be responsible for compliance with all laws, bye laws and regulations and for all steps which need to be taken for the protection of persons or property in relation to such goods and shall indemnify us in respect of all or any costs, claims, losses or expenses which we may incur as a result of such a delivery. In particular the customer shall be responsible for complying with the Highways Act 1959 and 1971 and shall ensure that any goods left on the public highway are properly lighted with warning lights.

For local deliveries, our charges are per order so it stays the same whether you have one pack of paving or a mix of other items. NATIONAL PALLET COURIER DELIVERIES

Many bulk items can be delivered to most mainland UK address via the use of our pallet courier.
Pallet courier costs vary, depending on the size & weight of the product(s) being ordered and the delivery location. Your delivery charge will be confirmed at the shopping cart or checkout, once you add your items and enter your postcode.
The pallet courier delivery service is kerbside-only and completed using a tail lift vehicle and pallet truck. Deliveries can only be made onto a flat, firm and level area, (usually a driveway or footpath) and it is your responsibility to ensure the delivery can be completed without issue. You will be liable for all charges due to failed delivery so please contact us if you are at all unsure and we will do our best to help.

IMPORTANT: Someone must be present to check and accept the delivery. Please check your delivery for damage and/or missing items BEFORE signing. Once you sign for your delivery, we cannot accept any claims for damages or missing pieces.

Pallet Restrictions & Limitations
Pallet couriers are unable to handle items longer than 2.4m (8') and a single pallet can't weigh more than 1,000kg, so some products are restricted from this service. Where possible, orders heavier than 1,000kg will be split onto multiple pallets but where this is not possible, such as with large monoliths, the website will only provide you with an option to collect in store. We may be able to assist you with a bespoke delivery quote. Contact us for more information.
Alternatively, you are welcome to collect or organise to have your order collected from our centre by a third party courier. We have forklift trucks on site and would be happy to load your order onto the vehicle upon collection.

DROPSHIP DELIVERIES (DIRECT FROM THE SUPPLIER)

We offer a selection of dropship products, which are delivered to most mainland UK addresses direct from the supplier, usually via a pallet courier.
The delivery cost is included for all dropship products. Our standard delivery charges will apply to any other products added to your order. Your delivery charge will be confirmed at the shopping cart or checkout, once you add your items and enter your postcode.
Dropship deliveries are kerbside-only and completed using a tail lift vehicle and pallet truck. Deliveries can only be made onto a flat, firm and level area, (usually a driveway or footpath) and it is your responsibility to ensure the delivery can be completed without issue. NATIONAL PARCEL COURIER DELIVERIES (MAINLAND UK)

Many small items can be delivered to any mainland UK address via the use of our parcel courier.
Parcel courier costs vary, depending on the size & weight of the product(s) being ordered. Your delivery charge will be confirmed at the shopping cart or checkout, once you add your items and enter your postcode.
The parcel courier delivery service is to your door and you must be present the check and accept the delivery.

Please check your delivery for damage and/or missing items BEFORE signing. Once you sign for your delivery, we cannot accept any claims for damages or missing pieces.

DELIVERY DATE & TIME

We are not bound by any delivery date or time put forward by you at any time. We strongly advise you to book your delivery to arrive the day before you plan to use the materials.
Most deliveries are completed within 3-5 working days of order but please book as early as possible, especially between March to October, if you need to receive your goods by a particular date.
If you have particular delivery instructions or if your address is difficult to find, please reply to your delivery confirmation email with details to assist the delivery driver.
Our delivery drivers are not authorised to deliver items to the rear of your property.

DELIVERIES TO WEST MIDLANDS & WARWICKSHIRE
We will endeavor to deliver your order within 3-5 working days, or later if request by you at the time of order.
We operate an all-day, kerbside-only delivery service between 7:30am-5:30pm and cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time.
You do not need to be present to accept delivery. If you are not present at the time of delivery, our driver will leave your goods in the most suitable place available.

NATIONWIDE PALLET & PARCEL COURIER ORDERS
We will endeavour to delivery your order within 3-5 working days, or later if requested by you at the time of order.
Pallet deliveries are completed on a kerbside-only basis using a tail lift and pallet truck between 7:00am-8:00pm and cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time.
Parcel courier deliveries are completed to your door between 7:00am-8:00pm and cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time.
You WILL need to be present to accept and sign for a pallet or parcel courier delivery.

DROPSHIP ORDERS
For dropship orders, (items that are delivered direct from the supplier) the product listing will clearly show the current delivery lead time.
Dropship deliveries are completed on a kerbside-only basis using a tail lift and pallet truck between 7:00am-8:00pm and cannot guarantee or provide a delivery time.
You WILL need to be present to accept and sign for a pallet or parcel courier delivery.

The above timescales assume all of the items ordered are in stock and available for delivery. In the case of any item(s) being out of stock, we will contact you to discuss the lead-time, which is usually no longer than 14 days.
Delivery lead times may be longer during busy periods.

INSPECTION OF GOODS

You must inspect the goods immediately upon their arrival at the destination they are despatched to and check:

A. Whether the goods have been damaged in transit.
B. That the goods are those ordered and in the quantity specified in your order or stated on our delivery note.

FOR DELIVERIES COMPLETED BY OUR OWN FLEET
Any issues must be notified to us in writing within 24 hours of receipt of our delivery note. No claim in respect of non-delivery or damage in transit will be considered by us unless you comply with the provisions of these conditions.

FOR PALLET, PARCEL AND DROPSHIP DELIVERIES
Any issues must be immediately notified to the delivery driver and to us by phone on 01564 702314.
You must not sign to accept the delivery. Once you sign for your delivery, we cannot accept any claims for damages or missing pieces.

DELIVERY TERMS & CONDITIONS

The goods shall be delivered to you at the address specified in the contract or as subsequently agreed between us. We are entitled to make delivery of your goods by instalments.

We are not bound by any delivery date or time put forward by you at any time and any delivery date or time stated by us at any time whether prior to or during the contract and whether in writing or otherwise is an estimate only and shall not be binding. Time of delivery shall not be of the essence.

If we deliver to you or to a place agreed by you, you must ensure that all approach roads and access points are suitable. If you do not do so you must reimburse us for any charges, costs or expenses we incur as a result. We will not be liable for any costs incurred by you in the event of a delivery being made outside of any guideline date or time given to you at any time. We strongly advise you to book your delivery no less than seven clear days in advance for delivery on the date prior to when you plan to use the materials, with the exception of fresh goods, such as turf.

All goods remain the property of Earlswood Nurseries Ltd until full payment is received.
