Once each section has been cut and assembled, they are submerged into a solvent based timber treatment that seals the timber to protect from rot and insect attack. The treatment adds an attractive bronze colour to your building that compliments any outdoor environment and should not need to be topped up for at least 2 years^.
Painting / Additional Treatments
Due to the treatment used, we do not recommend you apply any other treatment or paint until the building has had a period of approximately 6 months to 'weather in'. Painting immediately after installation may cause undesired effects and/or colours. If required, we offer the option to supply your building painted in a choice of colours. Additional costs apply - please ask for further information.

^The frequency of timber treatment will be affected by the environment in where the shed or structure is located and may be as short as 12 months or as long as 48 months.
We recommend treating your building when the timber starts to look a bit grey or every 24 months to extend the life of your building.
