A hydrangea is a flowering plant that belongs to the Hydrangeaceae family. It is native to Asia and the Americas and is known for it's large, showy blooms that come in a variety of colours, including pink, blue, white, and purple.

Types of Hydrangea:

1. Bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) - This is the most common type of hydrangea and is known for its large, round blooms that come in shades of pink, blue, and purple.
2. Panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata) - This type of hydrangea has cone-shaped flowers that start out white and turn pink or red as they mature.
